Memento No. 1 was a full creative-freedom restoration—designed as a true centerpiece and built to tell a story. The silhouette is clean and grounded, finished in a deep matte black that lets the details do the talking: warm brass hardware, sharp lines, and a dramatic focal point at center.
The skull carving was hand-chiseled and set into an ornate wood surround—an intentional contrast of elegance and edge. It’s the kind of detail you don’t stumble into; it’s commissioned-level craftsmanship meant to be noticed.
Created for a business investor, this piece wasn’t about “matching a room”—it was about making a room. It sold quickly, and it remains one of our favorite examples of what’s possible when we’re given the space to push beyond standard restoration and into true custom work.
